Kaikoura Walking Tracks

Kaikoura is well known for its walking tracks. The most famous is the Peninsula walk which takes you from a Seal colony to South Bay along high cliffs. The views are of the ocean, bays and mountains all in the same vista. At low tide the return walk can be around the bottom of the cliffs among the many Fur Seals that inhabit the area. Take time to investigate the rock pools to see some of the local inhabits. There are many bush walks, one of the most popular is the Mt. Fyffe walk which takes you up to 1602m ~ Views to die for. This is a day trip. There are more walks which we will enjoy telling you about when you are staying with us.

Marlborough Tramping Club
